Mirran Crusader is for the abzan matchup. He goes right by Tarmogoyf, Tasigur, the Golden Fang, etc.

Some people speculate it as a potential good 1 of, but I would go without it. If you draw it early game, you're far better off with the more "traditional" token producers.

I totally agree. It was a really card considering it is pretty mana efficient being only one [W]. I was also looking at Martial Coup as an option of a board wipe if things get out of hand (granted it could be way too slow) or Rise of the Hobgoblins as an answer to mirror matches.

Martial coup is not good. For the mirror match Zealous Persecution works wonders.

Only as a monocopy. It's subpar compared to all other token producers turns 1-4, but it can be a really good late game bomb. And I just forgot to update it haha.

Is Sublime Archangel worth a look in a deck like this? Or if I were to go with a 4 drop creature just stick with Hero of Bladehold because she doesn't eat a bolt?

Sublime archangel kind of defeats the point of a token deck. If you were to run a creature definitely go with hero.

I agree with taking out one swamp for an additional plains! One is enough I suppose. Don't you think that 2 copies of Valt of the Archangel are too many though? Or maybe just one is too occasional?

Well vault helps a ton in terms of utility against decks like burn or other aggro decks. If you run 2 solemn visitors then you could go down to 1 vault. This Mana base, being budgeted, might be a little rough to support a turn 3 spectral...I've just taken out 1 Zealous Persecution for another plains. This will smooth out some Mana issues that 2 vaults would cause.

Yes, I do run 2 Solemn Visitors and they're quite excellent. I'll follow your suggestion and cut off 1 vault for 1 plains! Last question: why do you run 1 vault in the non budget version and 2 of'em in the budget one?

In the non budget version I can afford to run 3 planes walkers, 2 of which are solemn visitor, so I have another source of life link that the budget version did not. In the budget list, I fear a 3rd walker would be too much to add due to price.

Is this version able to go up against tier 1 decks at FNM? I'm a new player, went to my first FNM with another deck and got destroyed ( expected though ). So I'm wondering if this is worth taking.

Well the inherent nature of budget decks means it won't be as powerful as other decks. If you want I could play you on untap.in with various decks that frequent your FNM while you pilot this deck. I can give you advice while doing it as well.

Just asking, if I have 3 Bloodstained Mire, should I put those in? And if so, what should I take out?

Bloodstained Mire would be an excellent addition to this. 9/10 times you'll want to fetch a Godless Shrine, so you'll take a bit of life, but it helps with your ability to produce black mana turn one and white mana turn 3. I would take out 3 plains.
