Spitballing ideas:

• Containment Construct, Conspiracy Theorist: backup commanders for the discard-casting part
• Magmakin Artillerist, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, , Surly Badgersaur, Archfiend of Ifnir, Green Goblin, Revenant: discarding matters.
• Frantic Search: For free, draw two cards, then discard two cheap cards to cast
• Lorien Revealed: With your commander, this becomes Concentrate with a bonus Island, not bad IMO
• Putrid Imp, Ghostly Pilferer: low-mana discard outlets
• Secrets of the Dead, Neerdiv, Devious Diver

Note that madness costs won't get a discount by your commander. Same for Garland, Knight of Cornelia  ^Flip

Cut Chromatic Lantern for another two-mana rock? Can't be cast for free if discarded, nor can it ramp out your commander
