Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia  Meld  Meld is really funny, but let's be real: You're never getting that out unless you use a tutor. As much as it hurts my Timmy heart Phyrexian Dragon Engine  Meld is just bad outside of the combo and should be cut.

If I have Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia  Meld  Meld and my opponent cast Swords to Plowshares targeting Mishra, do Mishra, Claimed by Gix  Meld and Phyrexian Dragon Engine  Meld both go to exile?

scotchtapedsleeves on Marchesa, The Black Rose - Primer

Love to see a higher powered Marchesa out there, your deck seems super tuned!

Read through your primer, I wanted to note that Mirage Mirror is a super strong include and you've convinced me to add it to my Marchesa. The official ruling on Marchesa is that as long as the card is a creature when it leaves the battlefield, it will return to the battlefield as its front side. I considered Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia  Meld  Meld for this reason. Getting Mishra  Meld out, melding with Phyrexian Dragon Engine  Meld, then returning both cards from the grave if the back side dies would be decent. Decided against the include as it's a slow synergy, still powerful though.

Reading through your notable exclusions page, it seems like you have half my decklist in there... Ouch. Was going to ask for tips but your primer is in depth enough that there are more than enough takeaways. Thanks for all the effort you've put in to that!

As for your considered cards, Thran Vigil is a favourite of mine. It isn't fantastic, but in my slower meta it hits hard. It's a reliable source of counters on your returning creatures. Just added Uncivil Unrest to my deck, it seems super promising.

Have you considered The Ozolith? I don't see it on your exclusions/maybe pages. It's done very well in my deck, especially after a Chasm Skulker blows up.

Isshin, Two Heavens as One is in play as my commander & I manage to meld Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia  Meld  Meld. When Mishra attacks, do I copy three of the six options that I pick, therefore getting two instances (targets) of 3 options. Or, do I get to pick all six, one instance (target) of each option? Thanks in advance!

FauxFaux on Card creation challenge

TypicalTimmy, as much as it PAINS me to say it, Mishra wasn't ever a Planeswalker. Now, I will say that the blow is lessened due to his Melded Form having "Loyalty abilities" in a sense, so its not that far off. Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia  Meld  Meld Kinda makes me mad thinking that originally, these two brothers were supposed to be an even match, yet nope. Mishra gets the Rod. figures. Typical Protag plot armor. yayyyyy.

BUT! That won't stop me from making a Compleated Mishra Walker, oh no no. I will do it. GLADLY.

Legendary Planeswalker - Mishra

As an additional cost to activate a Loyalty Ability of ~, sacrifice an artifact or creature.

+X: Sacrifice any number of Artifact or creatures. Put X loyalty counters on ~, where X is the number of permanents sacrificed this way.

+2: Create an X/X Phyrexian Horror Artifact Creature with Toxin X, where X is the mana value of the sacrificed creature or artifact.

-4: Each Opponent discards X cards, loses X life, and sacrifices X creatures, were X is the mana value of the sacrificed creature or artifact.

-9: Search your library for 3 cards, and put them into your hand. Artifact permanents you control become Artifact Creature Horrors with Power and Toughness each equal to their mana value.

-13: Each player is set to 9 Poison counters. Players cannot gain life for the rest of the game.
