If you look at most EDH decks, the bulk of their cards fall on the 2 to 4 CMC slots. I would try out stuff like Kami of the Waning Moon, Hired Muscle, Farbog Revenant, Crypt Ghast, Baleful Eidolon, Lost Soul, Mindwarper, Morkrut Banshee, Nether Shadow, Pale Rider of Trostad, Searchlight Geist, Keening Banshee, Souldrinker, Skulking Ghost, Thief of Hope, Vampiric Spirit, Wicked Akuba, Death Denied, Horobi's Whisper, Soulless Revival, Three Tragedies, Swallowing Plague.
Everything else is too expensive or pretty terrible.

I read through your posts about sexuality on MTG cards and alters and you erroneously said "There is no sexually suggestive material in MTG. Not one image isn't PG-13, POSSIBLE exceptions to Earthbind." I know of one card that is outright explicit. Embermage Goblin, I know exactly what you are thinking, "This are isn't explicit," and you are right, THIS art isn't explicit, but the foil version is. Oh, and Lost Soul is tasteful frontal nudity.

Please look at the list of swampwalk creatures, they are Lost Soul like terrible. Quality not quantity is important. Blue brings counters, draw, 1 of the 3 best creatures available annnnnd Whim of Volrath effects to change land walk type if needed.
