My first thought is you need to add more lands. The goldilocks zone is 35-38. Decks with lower curves can afford fewer lands but higher curves like yours should be 36 at least. You have a good amount of ramp, but that's not gonna be enough to compensate. I'd recommend dropping Rod of Ruin, Decoction Module, and at least one of the following to make room: Nest Robber, Ravenous Daggertooth, and/or Bomat Bazaar Barge.

Greetings fellow dinosaur caster!

Just a thought, but I think this deck needs more ramp. Any deck, even ones with much lower mana cost commanders, comfortably want around 37 lands, but 35 minimum. Gishath is pretty massive, so I’d even run a few more land ramp cards. Nature's Lore , Skyshroud Claim , and Kodama's Reach would all be excellent includes.

Also, while I know you probably want as many dinosaurs as possible to insure Gishath triggers go off, some of these dinosaurs could probably be cut for the better. Snubhorn Sentry , Nest Robber , and Huatli's Raptor in particular come to mind. Instead of trying to guarantee you get something, even if it’s not useful, I’d try adding things that make Gishath harder to deal with, insuring you’re doing more damage with Gishath AND getting more triggers along the way. If you’re trying to keep a budget, Whispersilk Cloak and Canopy Cover are both cheap options.

There are other suggestions I could make, but they might be.....more expensive.

If you’re looking to steal ideas, this is my dinosaur deck here. It runs Atla Palani as the commander, but the pre I’ve is the same. It’s foiled out nature makes it look a lot more expensive then it actually is....

Nest Robber is red—-is that card actually illegal, or is this a glitch? Just curious. Otherwise, looks solid.

Yeah, there's not nearly enough lands. Think of it this way: Lands are 21% of your deck, as it is now. That's the equivalent of running 13 lands in a 60-card deck or 9 lands in a 40-card deck. You're built around an 8-mana commander, so 39 is the minimum you should be running, along with, at the very least, 8 sources of ramp.

I think these 3 videos will be very helpful for you. The first two are videos by The Professor, one on Commander deck construction, and the other on building a 3-color manabase for the format. The last one is SaffronOlive on common pitfalls in deck construction.

Next off, what you'll want to do is look at the EDHREC page for Gishath to see what other people are putting in their decks. If you're on a budget, you can also click at the top right to go to what people are playing in decks labeled as budget. Remember to include card advantage, ramp, removal that is either flexible or hits the whole table, and haymakers that will close out the game.

As for cuts, I would start with 4 to 7-mana non-dinos, since that spot on the curve will get clogged up pretty quickly, and you want to be putting expensive dinos out for free with Gishath. I would also cut Atzocan Archer , Emperor's Vanguard , Frenzied Raptor , Looming Altisaur , Nest Robber , Pterodon Knight , Raptor Companion , Raptor Hatchling , Ravenous Daggertooth , Sky Terror , Steadfast Armasaur , Voltaic Brawler , Cobbled Wings , Primal Amulet  ^Flip, Abrade , Blossoming Defense , Demystify , Lightning Helix , Righteousness , Shock , and Slash of Talons . They're all either too narrow, too weak, don't scale up well with the creature size or life totals of Commander, or don't make sense in your deck.

Good, maybe go with a few Pyromantic Pilgrim or Nest Robber

Definitely add Goblin Chainwhirler to prevent token spamming.

Maybe drop the Light Up the Stage for something more along the lines of Banefire + Guttersnipe

You could probably cut a lot of the weak dinosaurs for some bigger ramp. You're better off playing Traverse the Outlands, Mirari's Wake, and Zendikar Resurgent than stuff like Nest Robber. I'd also try to find copies of Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Rampaging Brontodon, Regal Behemoth, Runic Armasaur, Thrashing Brontodon, Trapjaw Tyrant, and Wayward Swordtooth. RamenNoodles Thanks for the input. Mana was the harder thing for me to figure out since it's been so long so I appreciate the link there. You really think I need 4 x Benalish Marshal? I'll add it because I'm sure you know better than I, I just figured 4 would be a bit much because it's triple W and a 3 drop when I'm trying to shoot for rush. I was thinking about having 3 though because it gives that staying power. I'll add up to the 4 though for now and see what happens, I'll drop the 3 Nest Robber for it. I was had Nest Robber and Torch Courier in because they are the only 2 creatures that I found for 1 and 2 mana with straight haste and a reasonable power or ability for some rushing power. Torch Courier I also saw as a good utility to give my mentor's haste or perhaps Leonin Warleader. I'm going to drop 1 courier though so I can add another land I'm pretty sure. as for Lightning Strike I agree. I think I'm going to add 3 Lightning Strike and drop my 2 Demotion and 1 Seal Away
