Maybeboard

I've been building this deck for several years now, adding foils and better cards here and there. It has a pretty good win rate against my friends, but they seem to be tired of the linear gameplay and hasty trample wins out of nowhere. However this is my favorite part of the deck. We ramp hard, play big dudes, & smash face.

The best turn one plays are Birds of Paradise, Joraga Treespeaker, and Green Sun's Zenith+Dryad Arbor. From there we have a wide variety of ramp spells and mana rocks to get the party started. Value creatures like Courser of Kruphix and Klothys, God of Destiny occupy the middle range of the curve, while large creatures like Etali, Primal Storm and Hydra Omnivore wait on deck. In the late game, cards like Emrakul, the Promised End and Darksteel Colossus can hopefully close things out. I have a lot of pet cards in here, so I'm reluctant to change much. I once gave Impervious Greatwurm +X+X, and attacked. My opponent blocked with a 1/1 lifelink vampire. I then cast Embercleave to make an indestructible 33/33 doublestrike trampler. It's moments like this that I remember, and that make me want to keep playing the game.
