Uhhh.... I mean Efreet....

INTRO ◇

I've always been interested in extremely unique mechanics. Especially ones that feel silver-bordered. When Zndrsplt and Okaun were released, I dug through all my old boxes to get those coin cards from when I was a kid. If I could just find my Goblin Archaeologist I knew I'd have a Fighting Chance. wink

My Z/O deck was lots of fun. Protect Okaun, Eye of Chaos, make him big (easy), then throw him at everyone using Chandra's Ignition. Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom would draw me what I needed and Psychosis Crawler would go off.

Commander Legends gave me so cool new tools, my thumb finally found his owner. I ended up swapping the battlebond duo for the Krark-ashima partnership as my generals. The deck became this mess of extra combat and copy abilities and was completely random and directionless.

Then came Modern Horizons 2 preview season. Oh dope! Let's check the spoilers...

New Izzet Legendary! Neat! I can flip a bunch every swing and maybe draw some... OH MY GOD. Omniscience. IF I win 5 flips.

WHAT'S THE PLAN ♧

Okay. We're picking 5 everytime. Go big or go home, right?

Our main goal is to get Enter the Infinite into our hand & cheat it out with Yusri, Fortune's Flame, Oracle of Bones, Omnispell Adept or Wildfire Eternal into Thassa's Oracle.

Sounds easy right?

I didn't wanna throw too many tutors in, we'll be drawing tons anyway and I'm not a fan of how linear they make this feel.
