seuvius Fairly, it's definitely worth playing if you want to though.

I think it does better in combo decks. You could run treasure cruise though

I've seen Treasure Cruise in Delver lists and the Jeskai Ascendancy combo deck as well. But there has been talk about putting Dig Through Time into Splinter Twin decks to help find the combo, as VampireArmy alluded to. Although depending on the list, it might be better to run Treasure Cruise instead.

Yes. Incredible amounts of yes. Mind-numbing amounts of yes.

Dig Through Time is an absolutely ridiculous Magic card. I would play it over Treasure Cruise in a control deck that wants certain answers at different points in the game rather than Delver which plays 60 of the same cards.

If you have the space, run 2-3, and there is absolutely no need to cut your Snapcaster Mage s because it is rarely an issue.

I currently play two copies in Scapeshift , and it is incredibly strong there as well as in any control deck. I'm trying it in Infect as well to varied results.

I'm playing 2-4 in my UB Tez control and BUG lists. It's phenomenal.

Treasure cruise is better in decks that do not care about what they draw, since it is similar, IE UR delver.

Dig is better at finding what you need, IE combo decks.

i think im gonna run a few! i know this is probably a noob question but when you use snapcaster mages ability can you still pay the delve cost?

I'm playing both Dig Through Time and Treasure Cruise in my Modern BUG list. Helps me with pure card advantage as well as finding specific answers when I need them.

It's ludicrously strong. Play at least 2 in combo decks with Blue. It's busted in control and does really well in Storm alongside Treasure Cruise . Last time I check, Dig Through Time is like $16.

Am I the only one noticing that OP wants to start playing 8 mana spells in his Dark Confidant deck?

His Dark Confidant control deck?

October 21, 2014 6:34 p.m.

Ah yeah, missed that.

Dig Through Time IS HORRIBLE!! NEVER PLAY IT! IT COSTS EIGHT GODDAMN MANA!!

it's Bob or the lady with long-ass fingernails. Your choice, pal.

TurboFagoot says... #17

Yeah, both are very good, but Bob shouldn't coexist with the Delve spells in a deck.

Your life total is under duress more and more, especially in Modern. Bob becomes a liability at times, as good as the card is. Especially in a control deck, which isn't proactively finishing the game, Bob is just a ticking clock against you.

Bob shouldn't be in your deck at all, to be honest, regardless of whether or not you run a Delve spell.

i'd say yeah. i've hardly even read Dig Through Time until right now, but now that I look at it is pretty amazing if your Delving even a little.

shit haha i have no idea where my mind went XD of course i shouldnt play it with bob! do you think bob or dig through time would fit in my deck more?

October 21, 2014 9:37 p.m.

Dig. Always Dig. Bob is pretty bad in control decks, actually, because Cryptic Command and several win conditions cost a lot of mana, and because playing a Bob on turn 2 lets your opponent resolve whatever they want instead of being reactive.

It's pretty amazing for decks which need more card advantage, or need to go through their deck, like UWR Control. BUG seems like it would need it as well.
