I would like to start getting into modern, and I found a deck that I really like and would like help revamping. Tezzeret Control. I saw that a lot of cards are from about three years ago, and think it would be cool to see a revamped version.

I would like to make it more of a control deck, so is there anyway you can help with that?

The biggest problem I see with this being a dedicated control deck is that you have a lot of cards that simply don't control. Mycosynth Wellspring, Ichor Wellspring, Unwinding Clock, and Pristine Talisman don't really do anything to the opponent's board and don't offer you a ton of value in return.

A lot of the cards are decent cards on their own but you have far better options in Modern. For example, Sever the Bloodline is awful in the format. It's too slow and Dismember is going to be strictly better 95% of the time. Doom Blade, too, isn't very good with the prevalence of things like Tasigur, the Golden Fang, Gurmag Angler, Dark Confidant, etc.
