Feedback for U/W flicker tempo

Modern Deck Help forum

Please i would love feedback on my deck U/W Flicker that i am building, and playing, i tried it against infect, vampires, green aggro, U/B aggro-control, U/B discard, and it did pretty well, but i am hesitant as what chance it has in tier 1,2? Main aim is the flicker tempo in game 1 and then hatebear sideboard horde, taht just destroys any deck with tempo and hate at the same time. Thanks :)

Now, while there is merit to the deck and archetype, I think your approach is wrong. And take it from someone who has won several FNMs with blink decks.

You have to leverage the tempo advantage from flicekring into a game win, but you have to focus into that. Here is a multiple fnm winning list of the archetype, that has not been updated in months though it should still work fine - Azorious MORPHine trip.

Since you have the aether vial, which is an expensive piece of the deck, I highly recommend the esper version with the best modern counterspell Delay - ProcEspers.

Both decks have descriptions to show what they do and have been tested out extensively.

In terms of straight up suggestions for your current build, I do not think vial is particularly awesome here. I would switch it for 4 Cloudshift. Additionally, detention sphere + flickerwisp + cloudshift means you can handle any nonland permanent and if any extra copies come in, you can deal with them too. I would play more d-sphere, probably in place of 2 phantasmal image, which do not work with blinking.

Additionally, since you are playing Nimbus maze in your mana base, I would include some of the cycling lands from amonkhet and some Glacial Fortress.

You certainly do not need the taxing sideboard. You need to be interactive and play as much as possible at instant speed, so some form of a more controlling sideboard would be great. Negate and Field of Ruin and Archeomancer to brink back your spells is great.

4 Leonin Relic-Warder should take care of any artifact/enchantment based decks.

Your worst enemy is hand-disruption. A really good SB card that is super expensive is Leyline of Sanctity that just says no to a lot of decks.
