Splinter Twin in Tron???

Deck Help forum

I am wanting some oppinions and of corse I am going to play test it but I am half way tempted to put Splinter Twin in Urza's Gilded Wave. I think I might have tunnel vision by some of the synergy that I see though.

With Wurmcoil Engine it could generate tokens and give me a hasty 6/6 with lifelink

With Eternal Witness I could pretty much bring back anything

With Sundering Titan it could blow up lands in addition to the damage I am swinging for.

One could argue the lack of creatures against it but the point of this deck is to Genesis Wave everything out.

I am wondering what some of you guys opinions on this are and if its even worth trying.

You should play test it if you think it be good, that's the best way to see if it'll work. The deck is already somewhat soft to artifact removal. Alot of people run Creeping Corrosion and Path to Exile that's all I've really got. Splinter Twin is obviously a very strong card

Be aware, Splinter Twin says "exile" so Wurmcoil Engine 's on death trigger will not trigger without a sac outlet.

Tron does not need Twin as a win con. That would just clutter the deck with unnecessary spells when you need spot removal, and such.

Just let your Tron be Tron. Trying to add Splinter Twin tricks will only mess you up.

Thats what I am afraid of but at the same time that seemed like a cool idea.

Maybe make a new deck with Twin in addition that you test (online) and see how it works. Maybe it will be the next big thing
