Deck Help forum

I have done some playtesting with the deck but I'm not sold on anything yet. I'd appreciate a second look from anyone who has the time. General advice needed.

I would get rid of Divination and Fated Retribution , also you are running 10 temples, and with 8 fetches mana correction shouldn't be a problem at all, scry is useful but you might prefer the option to turn-1 Thoughtseize . I would opt for another copy of Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and 24 lands instead of 26. If mana correction isn't enough go for Caves of Koilos since you need black the most. Also I would add 2 more copies of Utter End an 2 Despise because hand disruption starts to shine at 6 cards in deck, and your deck is mostly afraid of creatures and rival planeswalkers.

I absolutely can't drop lands. You need to consistently hit them for the deck to do what it wants. Mana is a problem. Dissolve and Hero's downfall are annoying to cast. I'm between Divination or Jace's Ingenuity atm. Tried ingenuity but it felt clunky at times. Fated Retribution so far has been a card I've been testing. It feels really nice and tend to be a big blowout in most cases. I could see if there's something I could do about it maybe.

Well then, how much mana do you need at a given turn? because right there you have the answer to which spells you should be cutting or adding :)

Ideally, on T3, I need 3 mana. Either UU or BB. I can't let them get ahead on board. Finally, I often need to hit End Hostilities T5. I really don't want to miss a land drop before T5. With scry lands, I don't really feel flooded that hard. I can push the excess down pretty hard. It's just that getting the right colors early can be a bit challenging. I recently went down to 6 basics from 8. That's helped a bit.
