A new option for Shadowborn Apostles (spoilers)

So I have a Shadowborn Apostle deck led by Athreos, God of Passage here Reaper Born. Problem is I can't put Malfegor, Master of Cruelties, and Rakdos, Lord of Riots into the deck...

Enter our new Rakdos Blood Witch Judith

enter image description here

Now she isn't as hard to remove as Athreos but I like that she will do 6 damage split where I choose when I activate the Apostles. Currently people just take 6-9 life loss and then I have to use a mass re-animator anyways. Don't get me wrong Athreos is cool and powerful but also quite random and can't always be counted on. I will always know what Judith will do for me. I consider the deck more of a demon deck than an apostle deck too and will get to use more demons like I've been wanting.

Here is what I've got so far Judith's Shadowborn Pact.

I'm just not sure what else should go in or if there are some things to remove?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Judith strikes me more as the kind of gal who wants to use stack effects, such as Outpost Siege, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Blood Artist.

Yes, you could have a lot of fun tutoring out Demons with 30 Shadowborn Apostle in your deck, and that's a perfectly fine strategy. But that's really a better option for your Athreos, as you run Orzhov, which gives you access to Edgewalker which allows you to freecast your SBAs if your opponent doesn't want to pay the 3 life per sac.

Judith doesn't feel built for that kind of a recursion deck. She feels more akin to a mass-wipe deck where you play lots of 1 - 2 cmc drops with stack effects and pound everyone into the dirt in one mass grave.

Especially if you do something like Mogg Infestation or Descent of the Dragons so you upgrade, rather than boardwipe. Alternatively, you could Killing Wave and put everyone in a tight bind. You choose to NOT pay X, so you sac your entire boardstate. Judith deals a lot of damage, in addition to the rest of your stacking effects, and everyone else now struggles to keep up or fall out.

Another great option is to combo off Butcher of Malakir and It That Betrays with Ashnod's Altar.

With all three out, and your stack effects, you could wipe your board with a few exceptions, generate a ton of mana, gain control of everything your opponent's sacrifice, sacrifice those for MORE MANA, do this until nobody has anything left, and hit home with something like Rolling Thunder or Earthquake if you are ahead.

Damn. Maybe I'LL make this deck :o

By the way, may I ask how you made the image so large? :) That's pretty neat. Did you resize it on Imgur or something, or is there something we can type in here to do that?

TypicalTimmy definitely another direction I need to consider before I commit to anything. I really want to do a rakdos demon deck with the apostles but I guess maybe I'm just better off with what I have built...

The image is just ripped straight from scryfall. Opened the image on scryfall in a new tab and then used the 'image' button on here to have it appear. Scryfall likes there images big I guess. It is pretty sweet, especially with her artwork.

I had considered turning my Meren of Clan Nel Toth list into a RB list using this leader. The only real thing the deck loses is Birthing Pod and Sakura-Tribe Elder, but gains a plentiful amount of demons to and other sacrifice outlets to add to the deck.
