With all your mana i think card:Sorin's Vengeance is a good move +1

Vengeance actually is one of the win-cons, two of them in the deck and two cards that I can use to search for it. This deck gets so much mana-ramp that its casting cost isn't a problem at all, usually can get it out turn five 50% of the time I have it.

I would have you consider running a total of 6 board wipes (choosing between Mutilate , card:Black Sun's Zenith, and card:Life's Finale) and then run at least 3 card:Curse of Death's Hold. That strategy generally makes them struggle enough that you can drop whatever you want and be completely fine. I'm very partial to card:Life's Finale because you can hit their deck really hard in most decks.

To be honest, I never considered card:Life's Finale in the deck, I will be sure to play with the idea. Thanks a bunch.

On another note, I have made changes to the deck, however have not updated them on here just yet. The main reason for this is because I would like to see how it runs at FNM before posting the list here, just so I don't have to do constant revisions to the online copy.

I've play tested this quite a bit, and I must say its pretty sick. Well done. +1.

I would like to ask, what are you plans post rotation seeing as a third of this deck with cycle out? Just curious.

Also, you have 2 Duress mainboard and 3 sideboard.

Well you can only have a total of four Duress in the deck so i'd go 2 mb and 2 sb. and i haven't seen your meta but i know that Go for the Throat is a useful card against other black decks. I'd consider putting in some colorless stuff just because Sword of Feast and Famine kills my mono black deck like no other. If you have any Sorin Markov is in standard until october he'd work nicely with liliana and his vengeance.

Molten-Tail Masticore Spellskite Stuffy Doll . The First two are nice sideboard peices sometimes. And Stuffy Doll is just a nice card. You already run Wurmcoil Engine and Solemn Simulacrum
