You only have a total of 4 spells that can be used to get Chandra's Phoenix out of the graveyard (2x Magma Jet and 2x Rakdos's Return ). Drop the Phoenix to complete the sets of Desecration Demon and Lifebane Zombie .

Drop Liliana's Reaver and Rakdos, Lord of Riots for 3x Hero's Downfall . Reaver is super-easy to kill, and Rakdos is just too restrictive in his casting cost.

I would add chandra in place of the pheonix. Rakdos is hard to cast, but hes a menace if he can last a turn.

Have You thought of Thassa? Not only does it scry every turn which is quite useful but she also makes your master of cruelties unblockable much more consistently than rogue's passage.

janszperger you mean to build Grixis control arround Master of Cruelties ?

I would prefer Shadowborn Demon then master of cruelties because it kills something and the whip and it have great synergy
