Out:

  • Polukranos, World Eater: This guy was originally intended to be the head of the deck. He offered (somewhat) repeatable creature removal in green if he was in the command zone. However, the downside is that he's a huge mana sink, and since then, green has found much better options to kill other creatures. The upside that he's a huge creature became a downside since he's too much of a mana sink without enough benefit.

  • Yavimaya Elder: He's also been around since the beginning. Unfortunately, I can't deny that I wouldn't play any other effect if it said "{3}{G}{G}: Search your library for two basic lands to hand and draw a card." I can still see him seeing play in some decks, but I can get faster results for less mana.

In:

  • Monstrous Onslaught: For two damage with Polukranos, this gets me six damage with just my commander, and much more with various other creatures. At worst, it can be a five-mana sorcery speed kill spell, but more likely this will disrupt several key utility creatures.

  • Unnatural Aggression: An instant-speed kill spell, but the fact that it exiles the target is what's currently pushing it over Pounce.

  • Winding Canyons: If I had known this card existed, it would have been in the deck long ago. The value of playing all of these creatures for instant-speed is ridiculous, especially when you can look at this with Seedborn Muse. Grabbing her and Ulvenwald Hydra has basically become a staple for Tooth and Nail.
