Maybeboard additions —July 13, 2016

Inspired by Turn8ScornfulEgotist I've added 4 out of the 5 cards mentioned in his/her comment.

My reasoning for leaving Jace, Memory Adept out of the maybeboard is simply because I feel I don't need it. I am considering Lich, Ad Nauseam, Dark Ritual and Chandra, Flamecaller as the cards to take out, because they don't really go that well together with the theme of the deck. Lich and Ad Nauseam demands so much black mana and it's not something my gameplan strives towards. Chandra, Flamecaller is a self wheel and what I want is for my opponents to wheel. Hence it's on the list. Dark Ritual, while a top tier burst of mana, it's almost irrelevant, by far one of the weaker cards in the deck, which is why it also is on the list.

It doesn't appear that you took out the Tainted Strike with the rest of the infect cards. You might want to remove that, as it probably won't help on it's own.

In addition, Jace's Archivist is a great wheel effect that you can repeatedly use. I would also run Fevered Visions to punish opponents for drawing extra cards even more, and to give you extra draws. A few good planeswalkers would be Jace, Memory Adept, as he draws cards until hitting your opponents for 20, and Tezzeret the Seeker who can find your Top or mana rocks, then untap them. Propaganda is a great way to keep yourself alive until you combo out.

Oh damn! You're right! I must have overlooked it because it's not in my RL deck. Thanks! And you've suggested some really sweet cards. I'll definitely test them out! =DPropaganda and Tezzeret are the cards that I definitely feel have a spot in this deck. Actually all the cards can have spots in this deck, just not too sure what to take out. The Lich + Ad Nauseam combo requires a LOT of black mana so I might take it out. Also opens up the deck to have a slightly higher curve.
