very fast and easy removal. The power of this card is undeniable and requires testing in EDH.
This card is like a second Unstable Obelisk, or a third Karn Liberated. Mono-Black is sorely in need of permanent removal and this card might be what the doctor ordered, especially because its mana cost is so low.
I tried Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx it was to hard to build a board state that would take advantage.
Cabal Coffers isn't good enough early game.
I use Damnable Pact as the finisher for the deck because it can be used early to draw me cards, it can be returned to hand multiple times by Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed.
Kokusho, the Evening Star's cmc is to high to justify putting it into the deck.

All valid points. Looking over the decklist i wondered about nykthos. Coffers however is soooo good mid to late game. But your list has a lot of mana production so i suppose you got a point there too. Really looking forward to your explanation on the deck. It looks so fun to pilot. Btw i absolutely love that Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed is in there. Coolest card ever.

Maybe Cabal Coffers or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx? Exsanguinate can be a great finisher for you
