I LOVE this deck. to help with consistency, try Congregation at Dawn and Mwonvuli Beast Tracker to fetch the creatures straight to the top of the library.

I would also say cut Khalni Hydra , autocthon wurm, and Darksteel Colossus for 1 Iona, Shield of Emeria, and more changelings.

what about enlightened tutor and academy rector

OpenFire_V2 I use contingency plan since it is basically a scry 5 which is huge in a deck like this, i get the choice for my next 5 turns give or take. So if i needed a Descendants' Path or a changeling or something I can float that on top. "modern staples" aren't needed for every deck. Espicially since the deck revolves around my top decks, drawing isn't all that great.

Cm3 I am not sure if you didn't realize this is a modern deck but both of those cards are banned, if they were legal however, I don't think they would 100% fit in. Maybe the tutor but not the rector. I need a path by turn 3 if i wanna get explosive damage early.

Added an Idyllic Tutor to help out with the consistency. Is a great backup card incase I do not draw one or if someone blew up the one already in play.
