The reasoning is that Bident of Thassa mostly gets stuck in our hand when we want to cast it because there are better things to get on board like actual stax or we can't play it due to the Stax as it is kinda borderline costly? (the draw is good though 50/50% it's worth it i'd say)
While Damping Sphere Shuts down most storm decks and combo decks that want to tutor, draw and cast multiple things a turn to present their win (Think Doomsday/ FlashHulk/ Any castable Loop/ Storm/ Dramatic scepter which you probably can't get off it this thing is on board and slows down teferi a bit)... It also shuts down Cradle, Nyktos, coffers, ancient tomb, and so much more which some of the higher end decks also run. All around a good piece of the puzzle! (BTW it does not stop High tide but anything that comes after that is going to be costly)

What do you think about putting Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Natural Order? For me it isn't a bad choice, a Second or third turn Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger it's a huge advantage!

Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Natural Order are options you can use if you don't run : Loyal Retainers with anything ranging from Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur too Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite...
But the main reason I opt for Loyal Retainers is purely to be able to get back any legendary stax piece or hatebear. For example, if they got rid of your Hokori, Dust Drinker somehow...
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger sure does explode fast but my deck is not built that way and greedy plays like that could be responded to with the likes of swords and paths... Not that it is wrong to play him not at all!! If it works in your meta and people can't play around it then I would abuse it as long as you could. although I feel like Natural Order is a bit costly as a non-creature spell yet you can definitely get it off under sphere effects with all the ramp this deck runs.
You could also use Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger with Loyal Retainers of course but I feel like a Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is way more impactfull early on if used that way (Elesh is in her for other reasons as well so she is irreplaceable for me)
By all means, no deck is completed a 100% and if you feel like Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger does the trick for you then go for it!!!
I will take note of this because it is interesting for 2headed giant partners that can run this badboy!

@JXB; It's a viable build path which I addressed a few comments back as well but it is not what I wanted to go for. I Don't have the best knowledge/Experience of a Food Chain Derevi Deck but I suppose you can find other guides of it quite easily on here.
