Build devotion, ramp with it using
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

, and get to Nykthos faster with
Utopia Sprawl

: If you already have a nykthos on the field and you have one in your hand, go ahead and use the one that's already on the field and then play the new one and use it again.)
Big early game devotion comes from your leylines and from
Leatherback Baloth
and
Steel Leaf Champion
