Budget G/R Midrange

Standard RG (Gruul)

alizarium

This is my common and uncommon only deck that I built to play against newer people to magic that may not be ready or have the funds to play against my tournament decks. It is also a great budget build in my opinion for someone starting out because midrange is fairly easy archetype to play compared to others. Of course there are improvements that can be made but I did not spend that much time making this deck, though you can cut a Ripscale Predator for an extra Scab-Clan Giant if your community plays a lot of smaller creatures. I Hope this helps someone that needs a budget build to start out with (you can probably find people in your area to give you these cards). I do not have a sideboard for this deck at the moment because it is usually a casual deck, though it is standard. As far as how to play it goes, if you are learning the game just try to play a creature every turn using all of your mana and save Ground Assault for threats you cannot otherwise deal with or to clear a path for a final assault.
