It's another one of those days when my eye catches a random "non-standard playable card" and try brewing a deck around it. That card is Jalira, Master Polymorphist. With my thoughts set to brewing a polymorph-themed deck, cards like Turn to Frog, Curse of the Swine and Polymorphist's Jest came to mind.
Well here's what I got..
CREATURES
Triton Shorestalker - Just added it for the sake of a turn 1 play. An early threat which can be a target for Jalira's ability during midgame.
Elvish Mystic - Turn 1 play. Ramp purposes. Valid target for Jalira's ability as well.
Scion of Glaciers - One of those creatures to which the 1CC creatures could morph into. Can be pumped to eliminate frogs or swines during combat.
Ancient Silverback - Same as above. Personally, I just love this card. A 6/5 beater with the ability to regenerate? Sounds good to me.
Jalira, Master Polymorphist - This deck's entertainer.
SPELLS
Turn to Frog - Adds to this deck's flavor. Can be used when trading my 1CC creatures with the opponent's bigger creatures.
Polymorphist's Jest - Same as above but better since it targets all of my opponent's creatures.
Polymorphous Rush - More flavor. Triton Shorestalker attack's and is unblocked, before damage step, cast this targeting the stalker and copy opponent's big creature. BOOM! Damage > 1
Hour of Need - Well, I don't think this "morphs" my creatures but work's the same as Curse of the Swine, only improving my creatures.
Curse of the Swine - More and more flavor. Turning Polukranos and Stormbreath to bacon...mmmm yummy!
Well that's it. Feel free to leave a comment and +1s :)
