Porcelain Legionnaire...Does it count?
Asked by Alphawolf626 13 years ago
I was laying here playing hooky from work and a thought popped into my mind.
Since you can pay 1 white mana, is Porcelain Legionnaire considered a white creature as well as an artifact creature.
If so, since Vault Skirge can be paid with a black mana, does that make it immune to both Doom Blade AND Go for the Throat since it's an artifact?

Color is determined by the symbols in a card's mana cost. Since Porcelain Legionnaire has a white (or Phyrexian white) mana symbol in its mana cost, it is a white creature. For the same reason, Vault Skirge is a black creature.

And, more accurately Ohthenoises, any black creature that a Phyrexian Metamorph copies can't be targeted by Doom Blade or Go for the Throat .

Yeah, Vault Skirge is a pain, especially when playing a Tempered Steel deck with a black deck. Ugh!

Haha, everyone's forgotten about poor Dismember . And I remember when everyone and their mother was playing it.
