How does Worldknit work?

Asked by CrazedRam3.0 9 years ago

I don't under stand Worldknit. Does it require that you start with no cards in your hand? Or does it just mean that I can't have cards from different sources like the command zone or tokens?

I'm assuming your drafting or cubing Conspiracy. Here are the Gatherer rulings for Worldknit:

5/29/2014 Your card pool includes every card you drafted or received after the draft because of Deal Broker. It doesnt include any cards removed from the draft with Cogwork Grinder.

Also note:

5/29/2014 Conspiracies arent legal for any sanctioned Constructed format, but may be included in other Limited formats, such as Cube Draft.

Oh. Dang it. That would have been so useful in my 5-color deck, but I guess I can't use it without lying to people. Also that explains why such a good card is only about 25 cents. Thank you.

For effects like this from Worldknit, look at Prismatic Omen and Chromatic Lantern, which can be used in your 5-color deck. (As long as they're legal in the format).

I already have chromatic lantern it the deck, though I will consider adding Prismatic Omen. Only issue is, there is no guarantee of getting those cards... Thanks, though. Here is a link to the deck Sliver Deck(New)Commander/EDH

Tutors are you friend there. And if it's slivers, Manaweft Sliver and Gemhide Sliver both are good for mana fixing. And can be tutored out with Sliver Overlord, but I'm sure you're aware of that already.

Otherwise, Enlightened Tutor, Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Sterling Grove will work.
