Alright, I'm running out of fun deckbuilding ideas.
SO.
I have decided to start taking commissions and challenges for Oathbreaker.
Give me a signature spell, Oathbreaker, or theme, and I'll build a deck for it.
Or just grab a prompt on the forum and build it.
Maybe this thread will die, but on the off-chance it doesn't, it seems like a fun way to spend time.
Mono-color, and the signature spell has a mana value 7+.

Made_Compleat How about The Masquerade is Over, with Estrid, the Masked and Wargate at the helm? It's far from tuned, but I think it's a respectable first draft--I don't have much Oathbreaker experience. I thought about Sarkhan Unbroken + Genesis Ultimatum, but this one started falling into place.
If I need to issue a challenge, it's to make a really bad deck. Overcosted and useless cards, sabotaging yourself, and generally not able to do anything. Inspired by the Nihilist format I learned about a couple of years ago from 99 Ways to lose (Nihilist), where you make a garbage deck, then switch with your opponent and try to win using the garbage deck they built. Nihilist: Too Angry to Think is my design. Bring that philosophy into Oathbreaker.

That's a really cool prompt! I have a few ideas, but I want to see if anyone else wants to build that deck first.

Nihilist looks like a really cool format, but unfortunately I never ended up playing a match. It would be a lot of fun to break out every so often. If nothing else, it's great deckbuilding exercise.
I'm not going to enforce the specific deck building rules for this prompt, other than it has to be reasonably functional as a deck. No 1-land or 57- land piles, and it has to have some sort of win condition.

I'll work on Geyadrone Dihada if you give me a Pauper Oathbreaker deck. Planeswalker and signature spell can be uncommon, everything else has to be common.

sergiodelrio I don't know how established it is, I kind of came up with the idea independently. I'm sure you can find something if you look around. Ashiok Pauper Oathbreaker is my first try at that.

Darkling Spells - Geyadrone Oathbreaker
It started off as Wizards, wandered into Reanimator, lost focus, found Arcane Bombardment, and ended up in Spellslinger. This was a journey, and the end result probably isn't going to win any design awards, but it's finished.
