What are the best cards to sac. and best cards that make you sac. cards. Go ahead and throw in cards that don't produce any known killer combos I might still be able to use them!

Since this is not a rules-related question, it is more suited for the forum section.

Well, I'm still somewhat new to the game so I guess my own understanding of what I aim to do is as broad as the question. Basically, Infernal Plunge requires a sac. so I was looking for something I could sac. that would get me the mana but also be of benefit to playing, say Ball Lightning or maybe three Lightning Bolt s.

Maybe the better answer to this question is not with a card list but with a method for finding cards that work for you.
There are a lot of creatures with triggers based on when they leave play, die or go to the graveyard. Do card searches for these key words in the rules text: "leaves play", "dies", "goes to the graveyard." You might want to narrow your search by color and casting cost as well. Other phrases you might want to look for are "return to the battlefield" and "play from the graveyard."
Also look for creatures that you have to sacrifice at the end of turn. If you're going to lose those creatures anyways, they make good targets for spells like that one.
Creatures with the unearth keyword are also worth looking into since they are easy to resurrect.
A lot of good suggestions are dependent on context. Now that I know you are looking at red I can suggest a card like Goblin Arsonist
.
If you put together a decklist you can probably get better feedback still.

Also what format is this for? Casual, Legacy, Modern, Standard, EDH?

I use a sacrifice combo in my EDH zombie deck. It involves Rooftop Storm
, Grimgrin, Corpse-Born
, and Gravecrawler
.
Sacrifice Gravecrawler to Grimgrin, Corpse-Born . Cast Gravecrawler , Rinse and Repeat. Infinite counters. Add Blood Artist to the mix. Infinite Life gain / Dmg to opponent

For red, Squee, Goblin Nabob is almost as good as it gets for a sac target. Goblins in general are a good place to start for sacrifice sources and targets. Depending on your deck, Lifeline may be a good inclusion, because at the end of each turn, each player gets all their creatures back onto the field that died that turn, provided they still have one on the field. If you can ensure that your opponents are left with no creatures, you'll be the only one to profit. This is a commander deck, but it may give you some ideas: Murder/Suicide

This is kind of a broad question. What are you looking for specifically?
Sac outlets? Spells that force other to sacrifice creatures? Creatures that have leaves play abilities?
There's a lot here you're asking for. Can you be more specific as to what you need?
