Thassa, God Of The Sea | 2U
Legendary Enchantment Creature - God (M)
Indestructible
At the beginning of your upkeep, Scry 1.
1U: Target creature you control can't be blocked this turn.
As long as your devotion to blue is less than five, Thassa is a noncreature enchantment and loses indestructible.
5/5
Seems pretty strong, eh? A guy spoiled this a few days ago before we knew about "devotion", so it seems like this is legit.
There is some speculation that the Green God will cost GG.... based on a MaRo statement about a 5/5 creature for GG.
So, an even better prediction of what may become common for Green:
T1: Forest , Elvish Mystic
T2: Forest , Burning-Tree Emissary , Green God creature in 5/5 Creature form already, and still have R in your mana pool.
If it's 2G, rather than GG, then T2 = God creature with no extra mana, and T3 = cast any green permanent, and still attack with a 5/5 God.
Either way, it's a T3 5/5 attacking God.
I can just imagine the Red one having Haste, and still coming out T2 with 2 Burning-Tree Emissary 's, for a T2 5/5 God attack.

@ SharuumNyan:
Yes it does.
107.4f. Phyrexian mana symbols are colored mana symbols: W/P is white, U/P is blue, B/P is black, R/P is red, and G/P is green. A Phyrexian mana symbol represents a cost that can be paid either with one mana of its color or by paying 2 life.

I'm gonna bet MaRo was giving us a slight clue as to the costing. I wanna bet GG is just a part of it's casting cost like 1GG. But even if it's not there's gonna be some kind of huge draw back for having a 5/5 for just GG. Something like needing devotion 7 or it having Monsterous and can't attack until it's monsterous.

Note that maro said "... Can be cast for GG" so its cost probably isn't GG, it just has some cost reducing ability or something.

that would be too much as you could drop him one turn, use the monstrous ability to wipe your opponent's board, and attack for 5 (or whatever its power is). I think all of the deities will cost either 3 or 4 CMC but have their own devotion costs

I really don't think the snake is a deity. I think it's more along the lines of the demon in terms of creature.style. My point was if he costed just GG he's gonna have some kind of draw back for being so cheap. Such as having. This creature can't attack or block. "Monsterous 2GG: put a +1/+1 counter on this creature if it's not already monsterous. When this creature becomes monsterous it gains death touch and loses can't attack or block.
Or what I'm more leaning towards is it'll have it's casting cost reduced, based on the MaRo statement of "Can be", based on your devotion to green. Such as Reduce this creature's cost by X for each devotion to green you have.(worded poorly I'm sure)

My apologies, I misread your post. I thought you were referring to the green diety and not another monster in the set

I'm so happy to see Devotion as a mechanic. I hope they reprint Charmed Pendant .
Even is standard Thassa, God Of The Sea seems really playable to me. I don't think I want it in any of the usual three color archetypes, even though Realmwright is best friends with this card.
I think Thassa makes Lavinia of the Tenth Much more playable, when you can take the focus off repeatedly bouncing her and play more into attacking for 4 unblocked each turn.
I don't think Thassa ever needs to be a creature, but man will it be sweet when she is.

Why would Realmwright be a best friend to Thassa? Devotion would only count permanents with a casting cost and lands do not have a casting cost

I like 1 mana turn 1 mana fixing that secures a devotion and allows you to play both Dark Prophecy and Domestication without fear of Burning Earth .

...at which point, they burn/bounce/destroy/exile any of the previous creatures, and you have a non-creature enchantment that's no longer attacking.
Still a good card for the Scry, Indestructible, and Unblockable, but as a creature, it's unreliable, and really can't be viewed as 'aggro'.
I'm sure the Red or Green "God" cards will be able to be aggro... especially with green ramp.
T1: Elvish Mystic
T2: Kalonian Tusker ... and some other one drop. (Too bad Rancor and Predator Ooze are both rotating out... but still lots of spoilers to come.)
T3: God card, already at 5 Devotion, still have a mana to put out more, and can solidify before it attacks on T4.
