Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.
Variety XX
Sorcery
If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.
Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

Squee, Archon of Eternities
Legendary Creature - Goblin (Mythic)
: Until end of turn, any time a player would draw a card, that player takes an extra turn instead.
If a player would take an extra turn, you gain control that players extra turn.

I just imagined this being something you'd see from a set that swapped color-specific abilities around, and in flavor I see Squee getting control of an ancient forbidden relic giving him unfathomable power as something beyond possible and quite humorous.

Silverwood Stake
Artifact - Equipment
When Silverwood Stake enters the battlefield, you may attach it to a Human you control.
Equipped creature gets +1/+1 and have "This creature has deathtouch when dealing damage to werewolves, vampires or zombies."
Silverwood trees grow above silver veins in the ground, absorbing the metal like a sponge. It becomes infused with magical properties, and is almost able to find the hearts of those fiendish enough that deserve to die.

Knight of Vantress
Creature - Human Knight
Whenever Knight of Vantress attacks or blocks, you may reveal the top card of your library. If you do, it gets +X/+0 until end of turn where X is that spell's mana value. Then, if Knight of Vantress destroys all creatures it was blocked by or was blocking, put the revealed card into your hand.
Those of Castle Vantress pride themselves on knowing all aspects of history, politics and yes, combat. Seldom does their pride show folly.

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but I liked the idea, and I never thought I would be this interested in making an Innistrad card. This might be underwhelming if you only get one, but very strong if you get more.

She does indeed get worse. You'll lose 2 life, then 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, etc.
But you'll also draw 1 card, then 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.
So she gets worse, but better as well.
Make an octopus ninja. Feel free to make it Unset.

Crown of Horns
Creature - Minotaur Berserker
Haste
You may exert Crown of Horns as it attacks. When you do, it gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
Enrage - Whenever Crown of Horns is dealt damage, you may sacrifice it. If you do, destroy target creature with mana value equal to or less than Crown of Horn's power.
Most Minotaur sport a single pair of horns. On occasion, a dual pair. But there is a rare royal bloodline that wears a crown so sharp and twisted that even Mogis fears an uprise from among them.

The Enrage ability is tricky. If exerted, it becomes a 6/5. In order for Enrage to take effect, it must be dealt damage. However, if it is dealt lethal damage, it isn't on the battlefield to be sacrificed. So it actually needs to SURVIVE the damage, then you sacrifice it.
Tricky, tricky cows, man.
Make a Centaur Knight because I find it hilarious, the idea of a Centaur mounting a horse and charging into battle with a lance, lmao

griffstick, I feel silly asking, but could you please use that AI program to see what artwork you can generate for my Sphinx of the Wilds? :)
Also, which AI were you using? I tried to use Stable Diffusion, but it struggles to let the images load on MTG.Design. And a lot of the times, the images are disturbingly wrong. Like 10 fingers on hands and distorted faces.

That's the same settings I use most of the time. Things don't always come out nice I have to run it several times to get it right.
Also what you type in the box matters alot. For the above image I wrote A Sphinx Dragon called Sphinx of the Wilds Red green blue sky
And I ran it 5 times each time tweeking how it was written

Well, if we're going all the way back, in the first few sets the only mechanics were Flying, Fist Strike and Trample. If you include Oracle text, you can add Vigilance and Reach, though those abilities didn't have names when the sets were printed. Also Defender, although I'm not certain that Defender was in every single set. And while there was also Protection from Black and Protection from White, I don't know if you can consider "Protection" as an umbrella term, or if those two colors are it as far as what's been in every set. Furthermore, I don't know with certainty if every single set had Protection as a mechanic at all. There was also Regenerate and Banding, but those were abandoned long ago.
I'm being an ass, obviously. I'm sure that I get the intention of the challenge. But still.

The obvious and lazy rout would be to simply make a creature with the ability "whenever an opponent would take an extra turn, instead you take an extra turn."
That would also make it more in line with the cards you listed. I'm going to try to put a different spin on it, so as to be a little more creative. However, I wanted to add this disclaimer, because it won't fit the pattern you're asking for.
