I don't see why it would, it is nowhere near as destructive as Sylvan Primordial is, and there are lots of ways to get your stuff untapped as well as removal.

As upsetting as it is to see a Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger on the other side of the table, he isn't ban-worthy. In my opinion at least.

I doubt it. He's completely different from how guys like Sylvan Primordial operate. He's expensive, he has no built-in defenses, his ability doesn't scale like those of the creatures with ETB or LTB triggers, his ability is linked to his survival, and he's legendary, so although he can be a Commander you can't double up on him.

That doesn't make him not annoying, but it means you can still operate even though he's a crushing bomb to face.

Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger

Can't think of why it would be. By 8 mana there are cards that just end the game, and especially in a multiplayer game, somebody is going to have a kill spell kicking around before you even get to untap with it.

He wasn't banned when he was standard with Quicksilver Amulet , why would he be banned ever?

I do not see him as ban worthy, but I want to pick one up. Just don't want to get him, then have him banned. Just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

I didn't realize Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger was a $10 card, I played standard back when new phyrexia first came out and he was not a $10 card back then..

He's become a very popular bomb in Commander. I have one of the few Mayael the Anima decks I know of that doesn't include him, for example (over at Mayael, Friend of Monsters EDH incidentally). Many goodstuff green decks will run him if they contain any ramp whatsoever.

Mana Web and War's Toll aren't banned, why would he be? Both of those cards are much more powerful because I hope they have a 1 mana answer to them.

@drpeppercan You could answer those with about anything, even Rain of Thorns , because all Mana Web and War's Toll do is to you is force you to tap all of your land at once; you can simply tap for all of the rest of your mana in response. Each time you do it triggers those crazy things, but you still get your mana, because the triggers to tap your lands won't stop your mana sources from resolving. You then float all of your mana and cast spells normally once the stack clears.

It does keep you from using land mana outside of a single specific step or phase though, so it hampers reactive control decks.

Neither affects creatures or artifacts or enchantments that generate mana, either.

One of my friends runs an Omnath, Locus of Mana deck with Vorinclex in it. And there are times where I've lost due to Vorinclex being in play, and there are an equal amount of times I've won with Vorinclex in play. He doesn't provide an overwhelming advantage like Sylvan Primordial or Primeval Titan , and he can be worked around. Definitely not ban-worthy.

Tbh Deadeye Navigator should get banned before Vorinclex.

I just would like to trade for one. I did not want to trade for a 10 dollar card if a bunch of people thought he was ban worthy. I do not think anything should be banned, that is why I asked everyone here.
