TURN 3 WIN - MAXIMUM DAMAGE CALCULATED —May 27, 2016

Turn 1: Mountain, Sol Ring

Turn 2: Mountain, Zada, Hedron Grinder

Turn 3: Mountain (all these lands must be Mountains), float all mana for 2RRR. Use 1RR for Hordeling Outburst, get 3 Goblins. Sacrifice a Mountain to cast Downhill Charge on Zada to give it and your 3 other Goblins +2/+0. Sacrifice your last 2 Mountains to play Mogg Alarm for 2 more 1/1 Goblins. Your Mountains must be sacrificed in this order; otherwise Downhill Charge is useless. Use the last 1R for Desperate Ritual, get RRR more. Use RR for Twinflame, let the copy of Zada be sacrificed and get 5 more hasty 1/1 Goblin tokens for a total of 11 creatures on the field. With the last of your mana play Reckless Charge on Zada to copy it to all of your creatures and give them all +3/+0 and haste. You now have an 8/3 Zada, three 6/1 Goblins, and seven 4/1 Goblins, all with haste. Swing out for 54 damage.

I fully realize that this is a very ideal scenario, but you can use lesser combos like this one to take huge chunks out of your opponent's life total this early. Also, utilizing mass card draw spells like Expedite, Stun, and/or Fiery Gambit, you can easily swing for 100+ damage in a few turns more. Finally, I did not factor Blazing Shoal into the damage calculation, because that depends entirely on what you exile for its alternate cost.
