For the most part, the deck is working well. I haven't had a chance to take it out and play it as often as I would like and it could definitely use fine tuning to deal with less than ideal situations I might come across. I would like any input on how this would need to be tweeked to succeed in other peoples local metas, but I would also like to say that the direction this deck takes is very indicative of the kind of decks I like to play, and EDH is the format for complex combos, and ridiculous board states.
Zada, Hedron Grinder is almost certainly the most interesting mono-red commander out there and deserves to have interesting decks built around it, so if I lean heavily towards late game bombs and cards to get them out quickly, that is because I find them interesting. If you suggest something else interesting that I can do (and isn't being done by too many people) I would appreciate the opportunity to enhance my deck. if those cards haven't seen play in many decks, and getting them to work is something only Zada, Hedron Grinder can manage, all the better.
I might do Sun Droplet, it doesn't do much to counteract the life I anticipate losing to Treasonous Ogre which is my main reason for wanting some lifegain, but its probably never going to be useless. I just feel like it lacks impact for this deck.
Also, Priest of Urabrask out, Thermopod in. I feel like its probably a better fit in this deck.

I am strongly considering Soul Conduit as a combo with Treasonous Ogre.

I totally love the name. And the commander. And the deck. Good work and +1 from me. Also: Rush of Blood

ThanksKala. Rush of Blood is good, but I don't really feel like it is necessary for the way I play. If I add it, it would replace Devouring Rage, which I use because it is an arcane spell. Swapping it out removes one of my splice targets that I like to combo with.
