Enhanced Description —Dec. 16, 2016

I have created an organized description for each of my card choices in the hope that it will further aid you all in understanding the deck.

Good to see you fit Collective Brutality into the deck! Hope you've like my suggestion.

The card has outright won me games on it's own. I've had numerous 2 for 1's with it and even a 2.5 for one against Burn the card is great. Sooooo useful, kill their 1 drop and take a relevant spell early is disastrous for my opponents and helps me set up pacing and control of the game.

How are the 3 Auriok Champion working out for you? That's more than I usually see and the card is pretty weak against Dredge and Infect. Also, is the 1W cost of Disenchant better than the populate on Sundering Growth? I've seen it go both ways. I do really like the inclusion of Collective Brutality.

The 3 Auriok Champion is a bit of a personal tweak of mine, as most lists run only 2 if they run them at all. The reason being is that my version gives up an excess of early aggression so that it can keep up if the game goes long. The 3 champions is an example of that, it is a solid creature that provides me valuable lifegain, while also being protected from most of the popular removal and can effectively block many threats. I have actually won against Dredge with he help of this card. It cannot be targeted by Conflagrate, can block Bloodghast and Prized Amalgam without dying, and every time they bring their creatures back, we gain life. I sideboard them out against Infect, as you are correct that they do not exactly shine against Infect.

As far as why I run Disenchant over Sundering Growth, I actually did run Sundering for awhile and it is a perfectly serviceable card. However, there are times where you may not have the double white necessary to cast it available to you when you need to cast it. Disenchant can be cast the turn you need to cast it more reliably, and although the populate effect Sundering provides is nice, it isn't relevant enough to warrant an indefinite inclusion. Like I said, both are completely viable, and it really comes down to personal preference in the end.

That's fair. I can definitely see playing 3 Auriok Champion, my meta is a little hostile towards the card so I'm probably biased against it. I'm still figuring out my own personal preference cards in Company.

Secure the Wastes? Any instant speed tokens?

Once upon a time I did run Secure the Wastes, and it is a very powerful card in the Raise the Alarm version of this deck. However, since most of the tokens made with this version fly, ground tokens are less effective. Also, you have to invest a minimum of 4 mana into Secure the Wastes in order to make it produce just one more token than Raise the Alarm does. Thank you for the suggestion though!
