Our most expensive cards so far only cost four mana, so chances are we don't need Path for additional land by the time we can cast it. Also, Serpent chumps our guys for days so I'd like that out of enemy hands.

Well, this looks like an interesting idea for sure. I wish I would have been a bit more active on the site when the last DDD came around. Just to be sure, the pick needs to be in by 8:00 AM UTC? which means like 2am my time. I probably won't be able to make my voice heard until near the end of the time frame, as I'm usually around between 9pm-midnight. Hopefully that doesn't cause too many issues!

I shouldn't see any issues with that late input. Last time around I waited until 12:30-1am my time (Central Standard, which sounds to be yours as well) before submitting picks. Even then, we can change them so well as it's done before the next day's picks are handed out.

pick a few cards and then if you see it again pick it again. we had 4x phytoburst and 4x hired torturer. didn't actually work out all that well for us. we didn't play the phytobursts. he wasn't all that involved in picking cards any more than the rest of us, so I think we don't really need to worry about him pick wise. When he played he did make some missplays, and we can go over the footage if we want to

I think I'm cool with just that summary. Plus sounds like a lot of effort to go through ~6 hours of footage.

From the handful of Theros drafting I've done, I can safely say what I'll want to do: Go Esper (but only play two of the colors), focusing on the first two letters of BREAD in order to make an effective control deck.

That said, we'll see what both the packs and votes bring. I hope I've earned the right to say I'm capable of decently piloting just about anything, especially a pile of oxen.

Hello team! I was on Deckbuilder345's team last time around. No amazing strategy bits, but he goes on tilt a bit when he plays.

I'm afraid I don't have any inspiration at the moment for a team name.

See I'm a big fan of the A part of B.R.E.A.D,drafting a R/W heroic deck has netted me a total 8-1 record with the 3 live theros drafts. The deck usually winds up really fast and fairly consistent, especially if nobody else is drafting heroic stuff... if we go that route, all of the ordeals and the spells that target 2 creatures are super high priority.

Then again it could just me being a lucksack and Pack 1 opening Fabled Hero , who wins games on his own.

I think there are several very strong archetypes in THS, so I think staying open and moving in on whatever other people aren't playing will be a good strategy.

That said, Ux tempo has been my favorite to draft so far, but RW aggro, Bx devotion, and GR ramp have been good as well.
