From a glance this may look like one of the worst decks in history, but look deeper and you will see the true power of the lost tribe: Goats. A turn one Mountain Goat or Zodiac Goat starts the game with a bang, and they are soon backed up by the most powerful goat in the game: Crested Craghorn . Running out of Goats? The handy Springjack Shepherd will quickly rustle you up a new herd, or, failing that, you could buy for an excellent price of just a small amount of your own flesh and blood at the Trading Post! Coat of Arms will insure yours by turning these massive heards into insane killing machines, almost as powerful as the ancient, mysterious, and elusive Goat-Samurai of Kamigawa. (So elusive he was never actually printed!) And if you are in a stalemate and all seems lost, call on the powerful Order of the Golden Cricket or Cloudgoat Ranger, the masters of goat riding, as old as the game itself. The deck also utilizes the powerful mountainwalk goats with Blood Moon to get in consistent damage, and the moon is useful for controlling those pesky nonbasics, of which there are many in legacy, the optimal format to begin goat's domination. The Surgical Extractions are there to take out the goats worst enemy, the Goatnapper . If that card hits play, and steals even one of your goats, for only one turn, its all over.
