At Friday Night Magic, I ended up going 2 and 1 overall. I played against U/W Spirits deck, a Green Werewolves deck and a B/W Lifegain Allies deck.
U/W Spirits: I went 2 and 1 against the spirits. The first game I was mana-locked for a Mountain and I only prolonged my doom. The next two games my opponent was mana flooded one and I burned him quickly in the other.
Green Werewolves: I went 2 and 0 against this deck. First game I had my Hanweir Garrison Meld and my Thing in the Ice Flip removed with cards like Prey Upon and Moonlight Hunt. I was able to counter the other green removal though. I ended up flooding my opponent with human wizards from Docent of Perfection Flip and horrors from Emrakul's Evangel.
B/W Lifegain Allies: I went 1 and 2 this round. In the first round, I had a slow start, but my opponent got out all of the keys to his combo and gained at least 10 life per turn after turn 5 and hit me for 20 life straight off the bat then. In the second round, I removed his key pieces and hit him with horrors from the ground and later burned through the rest of his life. Third round he played 4 Anguished Unmaking, which he could easily afford life-wise, and cleared my best cards. Then he proceeded to play 2 Campaign of Vengeance and wiped the floor with me.
Overall, my deck did pretty well, but I think that I am going to change up my removal and my creatures. my spells I think I might have set, and my land I am also changing to suit my needs.
