Riddles Of Mad Minds

Casual

pookypuppy6

A Sphinx Madness deck of vexing proportions! The deck wins either by beating in with dem big flying sphinxes, or winning via mill effects like Sphinx's Tutelage and Psychic Spiral.

Sphinx of the Chimes is the key card here, able to generate absurd value not only by multiplying your cards, but by setting off Madness triggers. Prognostic Sphinx can be a difficult beater to deal with AND a Madness enabler. Vexing Sphinx is more awkward but can discard Madness spells for value and be an early beater or blocker.

Madness spells include Just the Wind, Nagging Thoughts and Broken Concentration, all of which fit nicely into the theme of messing with the mind. Being able to Madness two copies of Just the Wind off Sphinx of the Chimes for two mana seems like tons of fun, or digging eight cards deep off two Nagging Thoughts. Broken Concentration is an odd fit but can do the job, and can still make a good counterspell with value off Prognostic or Chimes. Meanwhuile, Think Twice is thematic, easy to discard and is just nice to have around.

Psychic Spiral is a beaut in this deck. You can cycle the two copies round forever and make sure you yourself don't mill out after getting that Chimes value.
