The 1K milestone has been passed!!! —Aug. 26, 2015
There's been an amazing surge of votes lately, which has lead to the deck becoming one of FOUR decks on tappedout to pass the 1000 mark!
I want to give a thank you to all you guys out there who threw me a vote, and particularely those of you who felt inspired enough to actually go through and build it!
Together we have put Mikaeus up as the budget commander to be feared over all other budget decks, and this is not the end!
It still remains to reach the number one spot on tappedout! Help me put a deck that has had sweat and blood put into streamlining the list to it utmost potential, and not one of those joke decks with nothing but 50 basics and a funny deck description to their name that currently rest at the top.
We also have a responsibility to put an EDH deck on the tappedout throne.
Once again, thank you all for your support!

I didn't have time to read the comments, but why aren't you running Arcbound (eg. Arcbound Worker)?

Karns_Pyromancer I like the idea but I believe the way that undying is worded doesn't allow this to keep coming back infinitely. Undying reads "When it dies, if it had no +1/+1 counters on it, return it to the..."
While Arcbound Worker states that when it dies you may put its +1/+1 counter on another creature, it dies and both effects check therefore the +1/+1 counter would still be on him and undying wouldn't trigger. Also if you then opt to put the +1/+1 counter on another creature you run into the same problem again.

Not if you run Hex Parasite, Æther Snap, &c. (Meant to suggest those as well)

Vampire Hexmage is another one but now you run into the question of why runArcbound Worker? I'm not trying to discourage your suggestions and as I said I like the idea but if you remove the +1/+1 counter from him then he dies and comes back but his +1/+1 counter doesn't go anywhere.
I do love the idea of AEther Snap in this deck though so you can reset undying on your entire board after a wrath.

Triskelion doesn't need +1/+1 counters. As soon as he hits the field with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed out the game is over. You always take him to a single +1/+1 counter dealing damage to other players, then remove his last +1/+1 counter and use it to deal 1 damage to him, killing him, triggering undying, then rinse and repeat until everyone is dead.

If Mikaeus is out as well. I play with some very creative players. (A T3 Animar got nailed by a next turn Chandra, Pyro once. I was livid.)

I have looked at the modular creatures but the big problem is that they can only move their counter to an artifact creature, not any creature, that and I don't really want to run creatures that don't combo with mikaeus and a sac outlet, but need another card in addition to do so.

Gravelgill Axeshark, Murderous Redcap, Rendclaw Trow, and Restless Apparition are all viable sac fodder.

MLS4thewin, none of those are legal options in this EDH deck

Ravock: Underworld Connections is actually a pretty good fit for this deck. However, it's far more expensive than Greed, and doesn't give me the option to draw several cards in one turn. If I could fit it in financially, I think I would though.
MLS4thewin: Unfortunately, hybrid costs count as having BOTH color identities, so as Karns_Pyromancer said, they aren't legal in this deck. If they were, I'd be running them! Especially Murderous Redcap...

Wow, I think this will be my entry deck to EDH. Thanks for sharing it man, big +1!!!
Sleazebag is there a better way to find the older version of this deck, then scrolling through the update log? Thanks in advance!

Xevorg: Afraid not, unless you want the very first version of the deck I ever made, which I have saved.
It's absolutely awful in comparison to the newest version.
Fortunately I haven't made that many huge changes lately!

Sleazebag no worries! I guess I will just go old-school, grab a pen & paper and figure it out.
Having only played only 1 EDH game I am still not the biggest fan, but I believe this deck might change that!
Kudos for coming up with this!

Dictate of Erebos would be really strong with this deck!

The problem is, if you are already going infinite, it is a dead card.

It also used to be in the deck but I took it out due to costs.

Oh and Mikaeus w/ Triskelion go infinite on their own, no need for sac oulets as you can make him a 0/0 and get him back, while dealing damage.

wakawakawaka: Rend Flesh is $0.08 while Murder is $0.36.
No other reason. I'd definitely upgrade to Murder if you have it at hand!

Ok, made some drastic changes to the deck in order to cut it down to below $20.
Now it shows up as only $26 on the tappedout price as well!
