Blood Moon and Oblivion Stone —March 26, 2017

I've been trying to figure out a solution to an opponent's resolved Blood Moon. I can search for basics with my fetches, and hope to resolve a Collected Company to cheat things into play, but that's about the best I can do. I've been toying with the idea of Oblivion Stones, but they're rather wonky for several reasons: It's not a creature, so it can't be searched for with Chord of Calling or cheated out from the top six with Collected Company; it costs 5 to activate, and it also wipes out my creatures, if I have any. But on top of all that, Oblivion Stone helps me come back from behind super well, if the situation is that dire. What does everyone think?

Here are two decks that might help. I'm liking this though. +1

Murderous Evolution

Ben Dover's Infinite Aristocrats

Thanks for the likes, everyone!

But, sorry, Shadow12721, help with what, exactly? Also, those two decks you linked are confusing. The second one is casual, and has cards that are both banned and legacy format. The first deck had Nether Traitor, which is quite intriguing, but other than that, not sure what you saw there.

What were you trying to say with your comment and those decks?

Ah, sorry for the confusion. I only meant that if there was anything in either deck that you might be interested in using here. That being said, I love your deck, and may adapt it for my local meta. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words, Shadow12721! I see what you were going for now, appreciate the suggestions. The first one uses Eldritch Evolution, which is just too slow for the kind of deck I'm trying to go for. You already have to have a creature out first, and it only grabs one creature at a time, unlike Collected. It's basically a slower Birthing Pod that you can only use once. Also no Chord at all is a little weird. But I do like Nether Traitor for some reason, I'm just hesitant to use it because of how many times people wipe the graveyard in the current meta with things like Relic of Progenitus or Scavenging Ooze. The second deck, unfortunately, is just casual so there's all sorts of crazy legacy and banned things going on in there. I appreciate looking at another deck's strategy and see what other people are up to, so thank you for the links :). I hope you find a way to adapt the deck in a way that works for you, just beware the expensive monetary cost of the lands. Cause holy crap.
