Mulch might do well in here. Fate Transfer might also see good use against spot removal.

I see where you're coming from with Mulch , its a good idea. I do find myself needing a color from time to time, having milled my ooze and an Unburial Rites . I recently cut Noxious Revival in favor of a couple Life from the Loam . That card is silly.

My -1/-1 counters don't spend much time on my creatures, but I like your line of thought. I usually generate them and then spend them right away. Grim Poppet is a mean board wiper that does it all himself...sometimes lol.
