Wu Scout

Creature — Human Soldier Scout

Horsemanship

When Wu Scout enters the battlefield, look at target opponent's hand.

Awesome list! In my experience, Yuriko builds seem so stagnant and I just love seeing fresh, unique options!

I always thought that horsemanship would be a neat old-school ability to explore with Yuriko - Wu Light Cavalry and Wu Scout are some fun commons that might be worth considering :) Unfortunately, they are still a bit pricey since they were only printed in PTK...

This is really cool! I love that you stuck to your guns and kept Higure - I think it adds a ton of character and uniqueness to your deck :)

A card I absolutely love and don't see anyone use is Wu Scout . It might be a good fit here in your deck! It could help trigger your nigitsu with pseudo-unblockable and also be an interesting etb to recast as you look at multiple hands across the game.

While these are at 2 Mana, Thalakos Seer and Looter il-Kor might be kind of interesting cards to consider. Seer would make an excellent nijitsu target, though the double blue could be rough. Wu Scout is really unexpected and could be fun to try out in this build too! :)

Cool looking deck!

I have an Edric, Spymaster of Trest deck that uses odd-ball creatures and several use shadow and horsemanship to get damage through. The better ones would probably be Looter il-Kor and Wu Scout. There are probably more efficient creatures out there but I really enjoy them :)

Reconnaissance Mission also seems like a get fit here!

Thanks for showing me Wu Scout. That will be nice in a few decks.

Spire Owl and Owl Familiar for a "playset" of owls.

What are your thoughts on Wu Scout. It has nice evasion and its like a probe on a stick which I find very useful, cutting spire scout to do so.

Thank you teodorofelipe I was using a $ filter when I was researching the deck, not sure how Wu Scout and Hunted Phantasm got by.

I did like most of your suggestions and added them to the deck.

About infect: I don't particularly like that mechanic in EDH either, but being a budget deck designed to go against non-budget decks you need every leg-up you can get. As a bonus, the infect creatures are going to be a lightning-rod for targeted removal especially Putrefax and Spinebiter which leaves your other evasive creatures to build counters and do damage.
