I have to say, I agree with your assessment entirely. I absolutely love Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge. I built an entire deck around him (Esper Artifacts with Oloro at the helm, til Urza, Chief Artificer came out). Check it out, if you wish. Seems like it would've been a deck you enjoyed. the deck

An Urza artifact deck using Urza, Chief Artificer as the commander that i just threw together with cards i got or pulled I didn't buy a single card... as singles that is, upgrades to this deck that less than $15 are welcome im not looking to spend a lot of money and this deck bonus if they're Urza themed or flavored as there is a slight Urza sub theme to this deck

There is no real direction for this deck yet just a bunch of random cards thrown in

Hello, I'm putting together my Urza, Chief Artificer deck and I am concerned that I may not have enough colored mana sources, lands, and instants. My win conditions focus on Blightsteel Colossus, Mirrodin Besieged, and Mechanized Production. Some combos are built in with Sidri to give me unlimited colored or colorless mana. Am I spreading myself too thin, not including some really important cards, etc? Thank you!

Static abilities (like those on the tokens that Urza, Chief Artificer makes) apply at all times. There is never a time that the token is on the battlefield that it is power 2 or less as long as you control 3 or more artifacts including the construct token.

Side note: You misread (or just mistyped the ability of) each of those cards. Urza makes a token that gets +1/+1 for each artifact there is no "other" in the text. Mentor of the Meek triggers on 2 or less, not less than 2.

Urza, Chief Artificer makes a 0/0 token at the beginning of your end step. It gets a 1/1 for each other artifact. Mentor of the Meek lets you draw a card when a creature with power less than 2 enters the field. Does Mentor trigger before the 1/1 is applied to the token?

My play groupe and I are preparing a salty saturday and I'm trying to build an artifact deck focusing of stax artifact.

Other than the orbs that I already have which other cards should I think about ?

The commander is going to be either Urza, Lord High Artificer or a proxy Urza, Chief Artificer.

I wanna slow them down to the bone and beat them up with golems created by Urza or by using combos.

Any suggestions are welcome.
