Daryl, Hunter of Walkers
Legendary Creature — Human Archer
At the beginning of your upkeep, target opponent creates three 2/2 black Zombie creature tokens named Walker.
: Daryl deals 2 damage to target creature.
Whenever a Zombie an opponent control dies (is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, tokens enter the graveyard before they cease to exist), draw a card.

Love the choice of commander! Though I do have some unfortunate news.
I am pretty sure that Daryl, Hunter of Walkers and Hansk, Slayer Zealot are, in fact, the same exact card and you cannot play both. In its place, may I recommend Life of the Party?

Wrenn and Eight
Legendary Planeswalker - Wrenn
Retrace (You may cast this card from your graveyard by discarding a land in addition to paying its mana cost.)
If you cast Wrenn and Eight from your graveyard, it enters the battlefield with two additional loyalty counters.
-1 Each player sacrifices a land
-3 Destroy up to one target artifact, battle, creature, land, enchantment, Planeswalker and token you don't control.
-5 Sacrifice any number of lands you control. Destroy up to that many target permanents. They can't be regenerated.

Okay so you know how we have cards such as Daryl, Hunter of Walkers and then their non-universes beyond versions like Hansk, Slayer Zealot?
Your challenge is both super simple and incredibly difficult.
Take a character from any work of fiction you like, find a legendary creature who could reasonably be that card and swap its name only.
In other words, turn an existing MTG legend into a Universes Beyond counterpart.

Daryl, Hunter of Walkers would be sweet in Thantis. I keep forgetting about him as well, I need to make some sort of functionally similar alter because it always weirds me out to have Thantis with all these high fantasy Jund creatures & then you have "Daryl - guy with crosbow"

Okay Guys, I loved Horde-Magic the moment I saw it. So now I want to build a Zombie-Horde Deck and 4 „Surviver“ Commander Decks with the Generals being: * Glenn, the Voice of Calm * Negan, The Cold-Blooded * Michonne, Ruthless Survivor * Daryl, Hunter of Walkers
I would like each Deck to be unique in it’s Game-strategy and -plan. If you have some Ideas for Deck archetypes that would fit with the theme let me know :D (Every answer/idea is helping.)

With all the controversy over SL:TWD, WOTC came out and announced that they would print MTG-playable IP cards in sets approximately 6 months after release. That is to say, if they make a Secret Lair set for, say, Mortal Kombat then approximately 6 months later they would have cards with different names printed, so that they would be "real" Magic cards.
So far, WOTC dropped the ball on Midnight Hunt by not reprinting any of TWD cards, such as Daryl, Hunter of Walkers and Michonne, Ruthless Survivor.
I could honestly see Rick, Steadfast Leader reprinted as Odric. A very weak, very crappy Odric, compared to what we have seen thus far - but an Odric nonetheless.
What are your thoughts? Think WOTC is going to drop the ball on Innistrad 3's Crimson Vow?
I don't use Twitter / Reddit, so if any of your chaps want to link this thread and ask MaRo, feel free to. I'd be interested in hearing his take on it.
