Gluttonous Slime
Creature — Ooze
Flash
Devour 1 (As this enters the battlefield, you may sacrifice any number of creatures. This creature enters the battlefield with that many +1/+1 counters on it.)

Looks fun! here are some ideas I have, take and leave them as you wish (especially if its out of budget):
since there isn't really any in tribal synergy (compared to another tribe like elves or spirits), it looks like you are going for a 1/1 counter subtheme. In that case I feel Hardened Scales could easily take the place of Forced Adaptation
I would probably remove the Slime Molding (probably for lands, 20 is really low, especially with no dorks) if you are trying to use it to add storm for Aeve. more lands that produce dual colors in general might help, consider pauper all star Golgari Rot Farm the bounce land perhaps?
I would remove Necrotic Ooze for something else (perhaps The Ozolith to continue the counter theme). right now its basically impossible (unless you draw into two jungle hollows and play behind two mana) to cast Predator Ooze on turn 3 and Necrotic Ooze on turn 4
every time ive played with Bioshift its felt a bit underwhelming, but I definitly encourage you to try it out and decide for yourself.
delirium might be really hard to trigger (if you do remove the sorcery it might be nearly impossible). my last recommendation would be the following oozes: Gluttonous Slime , if your opponent tries to kill one of your creatures, flash it in to make it whiff AND get a bigger creature. Oran-Rief Ooze , this card just looks SO good, and Mitotic Slime is basically un-killable. replacing Predator Ooze with one of these may also allow you to play Necrotic Ooze without suffering. Feel free to experiment!
( Corrosive Ooze for sideboard.)
Hope this helped in some way or another.
Oran-Rief Ooze makes me want to make a competitive version of this deck :p

Nice deck! If you wanna go even harder on the theme a few cards that hit the 'flavor' and are still playable for a budget deck; Consume the Meek , Consumptive Goo , Rite of Consumption , Devour Flesh , Devour in Shadow , Devouring Swarm , Devouring Tendrils , Faceless Devourer , Feast of Succession , Feast of Worms , Feaster of Fools , Grothama, All-Devouring , Soul Swallower , Gluttonous Slime , Marrow Chomper , Mycoloth , Ravenous Gigantotherium , and Skullmuncher
And, best of all, Hot Soup . Gotta run hot spip with Gyome, it's too perfect.

I have a couple of questions about this deck. Does the Horde ever activate Biogenic Ooze 's token creation or Splitting Slime 's monstrosity? How do you determine Gluttonous Slime 's devour?
Nice theme, and it looks fun!

Hey VexenX, I agree with you about combat damage. Since I have been running Omnath combat damage has been 'a nice to have' with the elementals, unless Craterhoof Behemoth is involved at which point we're winning anyway. That said, we don't run many haste enablers so this build leans towards burn damage. There have definitely been games that I could have won earlier if I had a cheap haste enabler online. With the new commander ruling about death triggers when going to the command zome it is even better for us to run a 'doubler' effect like this.
I didn't run Traverse the Outlands for a long time, tested it and it was great but ultimately got cut again as I don't like that it is conditional to board state and it is our most expensive land search and only for basics.
Rishkar's Expertise is a really difficult call. This card has always done so much work as it is almost always cast off of a elemental or large Tireless Tracker. I have recently added Momentous Fall as an instant speed card draw and sac outlet, again with the new commander rule playing this on Omnath is nice to refill out hand and deal some damage, potentally t kill our own World Shaper. I think I will just switch out Elemental Bond for Garruk's Uprising and see how it goes as a straight switch.
I am contemplating Shamanic Revelation as this card is very conditional and as we are adding other card draw into our deck is this just a win more card? I'd almost prefer to keep Rishkar's Expertise over it as apart from the life gain my opponents won't often let me resolve are card that'll generate so much value, as if it does resolve we're winning already. What do you think? a bit too controversial a cut?
I have also been considering testing Skullmulcher or Gluttonous Slime again with the commander death trigger rule change and the addition of Fiery Emancipation, tutoring with Chord of Calling to sac our board state at instant speed sounds appealling or using Green Sun's Zenith or Finale of Devastation at sorcery speed with Boseiju, Who Shelters All protection.
As I already have Finale of Devastation, Fabled Passage and World Shaper I think my cuts will be as follows:
Elemental Bond OUT FOR Garruk's Uprising
Shamanic Revelation OUT FOR Terror of the Peaks - waiting to be told this is wrong lol
Akroma's Memorial OUT FOR Fiery Emancipation

Nice list, should be fun for casual play. I'd look at mechanics like morbid Tragic Slip , Scavenge Slitherhead , unearth Extractor Demon , and 'classic' sacrifice effect creatures like Spore Frog or Bottle Gnomes / Brindle Boar . Stag is currently your only way to deal with flying creatures, so something like Aerie Ouphes would likely help.
Past that, relax and build something to be fun with your playgroup. Good casual games aren't about consistancy (uneless its consistant fun), they are about creating fun memories and flashing in Gluttonous Slime in response to living end.

Hey VexenX, I love Burgeoning in the deck, it is almost if not the best turn 1 play we can have I would be very reluctant to cut it. If you're not seeing the value then of course do what works best with your play style.
In regards utility creatures there are a few I have tested, as mentioned
World Shaper
is a great Splendid reclaimation on stick, I rarely used it for the attack trigger and it normally got a bolt from
Omnath, Locus of Rage
or sacrificed to one of our many outlets, comboing this with
Sylvan Safekeeper
,
Titania, Protector of Argoth
and
Omnath, Locus of Rage
on the field is explosive. Other creatures I like but can't find space for are
Skullmulcher
, a creature + sac outlet and card draw on a body,
Green Sun's Zenith
or
Chord of Calling
this guy out when your sac outlets have been removed or countered to finish of a player second main phase, remember it is a may ability so can still keep enough tokens out for defense if needs be. The other option which is slightly less value but more reliable and cheaper CMC is
Gluttonous Slime
, this doesn't have the card draw but is an instant speed sac outlet. If I could find a space for one of them I'd include them but I haven't been able to justify the slot yet. There is also
Silverglade Elemental
and obviously
Wood Elves
, I used to run the latter and use it as a
Natural Order
target.
I would typically do the same with
Dryad Arbor
keeping an uncracked fetch in play so I can find the
Dryad Arbor
when it's time to cast
Natural Order
or if you need a blocker at a push.
Some food for thought..

@AwesomeName Thanks for the suggestions! I did consider adding Experiment One (I have a playset lol) but I opted to go with Servant of the Scale because although he doesn't dodge removal persay like Experiment One does, when he is hit with removal (as long as it doesn't bounce or exile, which regenerate doesn't dodge anyways) he can make one of my other threats stronger with his "die move", instead of leaving me with just a much weaker Experiment One. He also doesn't enter the battlefield with counters to start unless he is Savage Summoninged, so I don't get an immediate benefit from Hardened Scales.
As for Predator Ooze, he also doesn't enter with any counters and doesn't provide me any other benefit other than an inevitable clock (unless bounced or exiled). Gluttonous Slime allows me to effectively negate spells that target my other creatures by absorbing their power since I can cast him at instant speed, whereas Gristleback can enter with a counter on it and provides life gain versus other aggro decks if needed. Also Predator Ooze is more expensive lmao.
Scavenging Ooze Is a great suggestion, I would really like to add him in place of like the Gristlebacks or something but I'm not willing to drop 20$ on a playset right now. Maybe in the future!
Strangleroot Geist also sounds like a great addition, I will definitely be testing those out. I totally missed those interactions when I was thinking about what to add to this deck, so thanks for pointing those out.
Avatar of the Resolute. This one looks good on paper but I feel like against some/most decks they won't be allowing my creatures to stick for long, so it wouldn't be providing a lot of lategame benefit for me. The lategame is also why I have the hydras in here since they scale throughout the game with their x costs. I will definitely be testing this one though and if in most games my creatures stick then I will consider adding this one.
Thank you for your suggestions, they were very helpful!
@SirFowler,
I don't really like Skarrgan Pit-Skulk because I can't reliably get damage in until like turn 3 in a perfect world and it could still get removed or blocked. It's more of a high risk reward type of thing whether I can proc it or not. So actually I may look into that still, idk.
Idk if I can get behind Simic Initiate, cause you can only distribute one counter at a time and I feel like that's too slow for my liking.
Also Hangarback Walker= rip wallet, I wish though. That would be fantastic.
Thanks for the suggestions!
