Anyone want some lottery numbers? :D
Very solid, Khans has been an amazing set to open for me. It all started with a pre-release box, where in 5 boosters I opened 3 fetches and a foiled Narset.
Since then I have opened 5 booster boxes, most were good, I think only 1 was sub-par. Last night out of a box pulled 4 fetches, a foiled foothills, a Sarkhan and a Sorin. as well as many above par rares, Clever Impersonator , Mantis Rider Siege Rhino
This set is Money, thats for sure.

ThatBlueMage Thats fine if thats your cup of coffee, but I like opening Boxes. The excitement of cracking a pack and seeing a foiled mythic, or fetch land, or planeswalker far exceeds the joy of simply buying what I need. Thats my preference though.
I also have been able to keep a solid trade cycle going of post-rotation stuff, un wanted Khans things and other stuff as a means to keep a solid float so the boxes are really not hurting my wallet terribly.

also I'm with you Thatbluemage- Along with the fetches I pulled a lot of cards I enjoy. Knuckleblade,. mantis rider,.. clever impersonator,.. jeskai ascendency,.. and even the uncommon treasure cruise and despise. Its worth it to me to get those cards in my hands.

Its a catsh 22...you can just spend the $100 on the cards you want, or you can buy a box and hope to break even with some trade value and maybe a foil version of a money card. But usually I feel like my money is wasted on boxes.

capriom85 in 95% of instances your are correct. Where Khans is right now money wise, a box is a very good investment. I have pulled $300+ out of a single box in Khans, and regularly hit $150-$175 boxes.

capriom85 Might work out for you, Think Fetchs are all sitting around $20~, Sarkhan is at $50, Sorin is at $30, plus there is a tonne of rares in the $6-$10 range and thats all non foiled. One Foiled Fetch or Planeswalker makes the box.
But you could always open a box full of Ankle Shanker 's and Avalanche Tusker 's lol

Happened to me yesterday lol, Opened a foiled Wooded Foothills then the next pack as a foiled Wind-Scarred Crag I was all like "YESSSSSS......Nooooooooo"
