Forever Alone Decks? (Solo magic because have no friends)

Was not sure if there is any other forums this makes sense on so I shall post it here. So what I want to discuss is this. Do you ever really wanna play Magic but there is no one to play with at the moment? Well I get that way a lot so I wanted to find a way to curb my hunger. I know there was the Born of The Gods Horde battle deck and this is where I get the idea from. Do you ever make a deck that plays solo so you can run it and play against it? I am trying to make a deck to play with, im trying to figure out simple rules and mechanics to use. So I wanna know does anyone else do this? How do you do it? How do you make it work? My current trial deck is focused on solider tokens and uses tokens as the main creatures.

I playtest against decks on this site regularly. It gives me a good feel for how my decks work, what I can reasonably expect in the meta, what are my tougher matchups, and if my deck needs some work. I like magic just as much for building decks as I do for playing the actual game. A lot of the time, I can just think of an idea for a deck and start building it to quench my thirst. My playgroup meets weekly at the very minimum for commander and I get to play standard quite often as well. Still, I get this feeling from time to time.

Horde is an actual format. You typically play against it in multiplayer, although I'm sure you could construct a singleplayer version.

The deck should be between 50% to 75% tokens and the rest nontokens. Avoid things with activated abilities, targets, and anything else that would require a decision. If you do decide to include these things, you could always randomize the choices by flipping a coin or rolling a die.

Include the tokens, a couple basic creature cards (for Soldiers, you might pick Elite Vanguard , Glory Seeker , etc.), and a couple synergistic creatures (Veteran Armorsmith , Veteran Swordsmith , Rhox Pikemaster , Captain of the Watch , Daru Warchief , Field Marshal ).

You'll also want some noncreature cards like First Response , Captain's Call , Conqueror's Pledge , Nomads' Assembly .

See that is sorta what I have what I am not sure how to balance is how the deck plays cards? the horde deck just played them right? there was no lands. I was testing a concept of the decks creatures must attack if able, and all noncreature spells can be played by basically convoking them however the creatures tapped for mana are also sacrificed. idk still working on this idea for my self.

The horde has no lands and no hand, and it has unlimited mana. All creatures attack each turn if able. You need to sleeve the deck.

On each of its turns, the horde reveals "cards" from the top of its library until it reveals a nontoken. All tokens revealed this way are put onto the battlefield, then the spell is cast. After the spell is handled, all creatures the horde controls that can attack do so.

I know there is a lot of talk about Horde, but when I find no one to play with I just sign onto Cockatrice and play some online battles. It's cool to see what decks other people are currently using/playtesting plus it gives me a feel for how effective my decks are at least in 1v1.
