What creature type can make the best tribal deck in your opinion
Changeling. But in competitive decks only one tribal deck has lasted the test of time, Merfolk, but Faeries aren't far behind. The rest is just what fits your flavor, I love vampires so built a vamp edh deck for fun.

I'm waiting for someone to make the Brushwagg tribal deck. For competitive decks it depends on the format. Legacy Merfolk is probably the best hands down, with Faeries as probably the best in Modern. Goblins are another option in most formats since they're quick and hilarious. Standard doesn't really have a good tribal deck in it, but it wouldn't be too hard to make a decent B/R Minotaur tribal deck.

Goblins have the largest pool of ridiculously powerful cards, mainly Goblin Lackey , Goblin Recruiter , and Goblin Piledriver . Goblin Recruiter is currently banned in Legacy (otherwise, the format would be dominated by Goblins) and has been previously restricted (along with Goblin Matron ) in Vintage.
The only other tribes who come close are Elves and Merfolk, and neither have anything close to Goblin Ringleader .

I personally enjoy playing Angels, but I'd have to say Merfolk, Elves, and Goblins are the strongest.

Id say goblins tribal would probably be the strongest tribal deck you could make.
