Win condition for infinite mana in old-school style UB deck

Hey, a friend of mine is looking for a 1-card win condition in his blue/black deck that uses Grim Monolith and Power Artifact to generate infinite colorless mana.

The thing is, he only likes old cards, meaning he refuses to play cards that have a new card frame (i.e. anything past 8th edition).

He already has Stroke of Genius but he's looking for other, more (potentially silly) 1-card options. Initially he had Rocket Launcher in mind but then he realized that it pretty much has summoning sickness.

I tried to research cards with X in their mana cost which gave me Braingeyser, but maybe some other cards / effects are in order, especially since Braingeyser uses double blue. I also researched buyback and kicker but that was a bust.

Anyone know of any artifacts or other things with activated abilities that can kill someone (or possibly multiple people) with infinite mana from the earlier days of magic?

Splash white for Death Grasp?

Unfortunately, all the other pre-modern options seem to be red burn, blue mill, creature pump, or require colored black mana to pay for X. Fireball would get everyone though.

Perhaps Whetstone or Drain Life + Initiates of the Ebon Hand ? I'm having a hard time thinking of anything else besides splashing for a Fireball effect.

Sealed Fate - Not an instant win, but you can sort their library any way you want... so they will be drawing nothing but land until they have no land left.

@ notamardybum: That's not a win condition but a way to generate infinite mana, which he already has. Also, as I said he doesn't want to use new cards (Mikaeus).
