R/B Vamps

My physical deck is straight black bloodthirst vamps with Phyrexian Metamorph creating copies for an extra mana off of Shimmering Grotto . However, my only way to activate bloodthirst in black is Taste of Blood and flyers via Cobbled Wings . To be honest, the deck is seriously lacking.

Instead, I'm trying R/B instead. The only drawback I have noticed is that it kind of steers away from the bloodthirst mechanic unless Heartless Summoning is out and Bloodlord of Vaasgoth is on the board.

Throw some ideas my way, please?!

Red, bloodthirst... you must want Stormblood Berserker !!!

Also Goblin Fireslinger to activate bloodthirst at will :)

curse of stalked prey/stromkirk nobles/rakish heirs/ bloodlord of vasgoth/bloodline keepers/faulkenwrath Marauders/chandra/volt charges/devils play/brimstone volley. Throw in some creature removal and you are gettying all your vampires pumped up like nobodys business. main problem i have when playing my vamp deck is they dont have enough hitpoints for me to let my guys get as big as I want them to. Sry for no links to cards and the bad spelling but its late here. Its really cool to have all my vampires with 1 counter or so on them and then cast volt charge while chandra is out. She effectively reverberates the volt charge, her loyalty doesnt change and you just effectively dished out 6 damage and proliferated all your vamps twice for 3 mana.

I wish I could afford to throw Chandra in there, but I'm trying to keep the cost down. Would also like to keep the deck black since those are the cards I have to build with at the moment.

Also, check out the deck again. Made some changes. Curse of Stalked Prey seems to playtest well with this build.

Tezzerits gambit can save you since you need card draw or even alter's reap. Since your oponent can only win with removing your creatures just counter their doomblades and dismembers with alters reap and you got them to burn mana and a removal spell all the while you have 2 more cards which equals a turn advantage in some cases.
