so a sideboard is a lot of times just adding in cards that you have 1 ofs in the main board. So for example you could play more Complete Disregard or Transgress the Mind if you feel those would help you against certain decks (disregard against deathmist raptor and hangarback and trangress against abzan and esper control) The sideboard mainly depends on your meta and what decks yours is poor against. Maybe you want to sideboard that 1R spell that processes something and then Roast s something its the same card except it makes you move a card from exile I dont remember the name that one is good against abzan and siege rhino decks. Other than that I dont know much about your deck and its matchups and your meta so its hard to suggest things

a sideboard allows you to modify your deck to have a more favorable matchup against your opponent. allowing you to fine-tune it to increase your chances of winning.

its usually home to cards like Self-Inflicted Wound and Rending Volley that are only good against specific colors. or spells like Roast/Processor Assault that deal with specific threats like rhino.

add in cards like Duress or Outpost Siege that alter your decks power against longer/control games. Murderous Cut is also popular.

Its also a good place to put cards that alter your decks counts/curve, like more Herald of Kozilek and Ruination Guide (over say Oracle of Dust) to lower your curve to be more aggressive then aggro.

There are two ways to build your sideboard. You can create a general sideboard to combat a as many different archetypes as possible. Then there are focused sideboards that combat specific decks, usually the best decks or decks that beat yours. The second method requires a deep understanding of your meta. The strategies you want to be prepared for are aggro, midrange, and control. aggro and control decks are simpler to sideboard against than midrange. The card suggestions IzuKorasu suggested are a good start. Good luck.
